April 30th: Trumbull County Democratic Party Breakfast & Repeal SB5 Kickoff 

Please join us for breakfast and sign the petition on Saturday, April 30th, 2011 10:30AM at DiVieste's 754 North River Road Warren, OH ($10 Donation).  Senate Bill 5 negatively impacts ALL of us.Senate Bill 5 is an attack on the middle class.Senate Bill 5 will allow Ohio to reduce the wages and benefits of middle class workers in order to provide MORE tax breaks for corporations and millionaires.Senate Bill 5 will allow the State of Ohio to eliminate state and municipal workers and privatize: schools, prisons, turnpike, and other public employee agencies. Senate Bill 5 will destroy communities.

April 6th: "Democrats & Unions Coming Together" Open Discussion

Trumbull County Democratic Party & Chairman Dan Polivka invite you to "Democrats & Unions Coming Together" co-sponsored by United Steelworkers Local 1375, Ed Machingo, President. The event will be held on April 6th, 2011 5:00PM-7:00PM at USW Local 1375 Hall  684 North Park Ave. Warren, OH 44483. 

5:00-5:30 PM Please join us for socializing. PIZZA & REFRESHMENTS will be served. 5:30-7:00 PM We will hold an OPEN DISCUSSION between union members and Democrats on how we can better support one another. We will talk about the attacks on collective bargaining & the middle class; upcoming 2012 elections; & identify other issues of concern to local Democrats & unions. This discussion will serve as a foundation for further strategizing and teamwork between the Trumbull County Democratic Party & local unions.

March 10th: Rally & Fundraiser to Help Save Collective Bargaining

Stand together to oppose Sen. Bill 5! A rally and fundraiser to help save collective bargaining and protect workers' rights in Ohio will be held March 10th, 2011 5:30PM at Yankee Lake Ballroom (1814 State Route 7, Brookfield, OH 44403).  Sponsored by: State Senators Cafaro & Schiavoni; State Representatives Gerberry, Hagan, Letson, & O'Brien; Local Unions; and Trumbull County Democratic Party Chairman Dan Polivka.  APPETIZERS & REFRESHMENTS will be served. TICKETS: $20 Donation (Tickets may be purchased at the door or through local unions). Partial proceeds will also go to the Trumbull County Democratic Party to defeat Republicans in 2012!

February 21st:  Rally to Oppose Senate Bill 5 at YSU

Ohio Senate Bill 5 is the Kasich administration's effort to remove collective bargaining for public employees in the state of Ohio.  Members and friends of organized labor are asked to come to a rally at YSU on Monday, February 21st. The meeting will be in the Chestnut Room of Kilcawely Center on the YSU campus and starts at 4:30 p.m.

October 30th: Fall Dinner Dance

November 1st: First Lady Frances Strickland & Senator Sherrod Brown Visit Trumbull County Coordinated Campaign HQ 

Come see First Lady Frances Strickland & Senator Sherrod Brown at 1:30 PM at the Coordinated Campaign HQ office (222 E. Market St., Warren, OH). Also, while you are there you can sign up to volunteer to help Get Out the Vote!

November 2nd: Time to Vote

Don’t forget to come out to vote!  You may also vote in person from 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM at the Trumbull County Board of Elections (2947 Youngstown Rd. SE, Warren, OH). All voted ballots must be recieved by 7:30 PM on Nov. 2nd at the Trumbull County Board of Elections.
